Generosity

Wow, I got my family some great things for Christmas. Of course, we have to be careful to not let our stuff become too important. Did you ever hear about the rich, young ruler who actually loved his things more than he loved Jesus? Come to Family Sunday this weekend and find out what happened.

Generosity

Birthday parties are fun because there is usually cake and ice cream and fun stuff to do. But would you go to a birthday party even if it was so far away that it took a couple of years to get there? What if there was no cake, ice cream, or fun stuff to do? Join us at K-town this weekend and see how when you give, especially your time and effort, it shows others how valuable they are.

Generosity

What is the best Christmas present you have ever received? Maybe it was a toy or a bike or a game of some sort. Those all sound like pretty good things, but have you heard about the greatest gift of all? I don’t know about you, but that’s the kind of present I want to get. I wonder what it could be. Come to K-town this weekend and find out how to get this amazing present.

Generosity

Wow, it’s almost Christmas! Do you love getting presents? I know I do. But giving presents can also fun. Sometimes we forget to think about others because we worry too much about our own stuff. Did you know Jesus once told a man that people are more important than things? Come to K-town this weekend and see how giving something away can make another person’s day.

Expressing Gratitude

If Jesus told you that he was hungry, would you take him out for pizza? What if Jesus needed clothes, would you give him some of yours? The Bible says when we do something nice for someone else we are also doing it for Jesus. Visit K-town and see how caring for others lets God know how much we love him.

Expressing Gratitude

What would you think about having three Thanksgivings every year? Now that’s a lot of food. It may sound silly, but long before the first Thanksgiving ever took place, the Israelites would celebrate and give thanks to God by actually having three feasts a year. Did they eat turkey? Did they watch football? Come to K-town this weekend and see what their Thanksgiving looked like.

Expressing Gratitude

“THAT’S NOT FAIR!” We all feel this way when something doesn’t work out the way we think it should. Maybe your friends or your brother and sister get to do things that you don’t get to do. Or maybe you do all of the cleaning while they sit around, but they still get the same reward as you. What should you do? Join us in K-town this weekend to see how the wrong attitude can spoil your gratitude.

Expressing Gratitude

Have you ever written a thank you note? It may not be fun but it is important. When people know you appreciate them, they will help you even more. Come visit K-town and hear about a guy who once hated Christians so much that he would put them in jail. But with the help of others, he ended up saving Christians. Find out what he did to thank those that helped him.

Expressing Gratitude

Your dad may help you with your homework and play games with you. Or maybe your mom cooks your food and reads books to you. Be sure to say thanks because there is a difference between being thankful and letting others know you are thankful. Did you ever hear about the time Jesus healed ten people who were really sick, but only one of them said thank you? Come to Ktown this weekend and find out what happened. By the way, we are all really thankful for each and every one of you! See you soon.

Determined to Finish

Have you ever been in a bad mood and not felt like doing what you should? It's easy to let bad moods stop us from doing what we're supposed to do. But did you know that when we quit doing what we should we miss out on God's blessings? This is exactly what happened to the people that God freed from slavery in Egypt. Wander on over to Ktown this weekend and check out what happened.

Determined to Finish

What would you do if one of your friends was doing something wrong? Would you try to help them make the wise choice and obey God? Okay, what if there were Biblical plagues invovled like water turning to blood, millions of frogs, and the sun going dark? Come to Ktown this weekend and find out what happened when a friend tried to help someone obey God.
